IN THE DVD PLAYER TONITE: UP IN THE AIR

There is something about a man that has a rendevous with an attractive flight attendant that makes me what to see this movie.

Plus if a movie was nominated for 6 Oscars, it just might be worth watching. Eh?

BLACK DYNAMITE...I can dig it!

By far one the the funniest movies I've ever since...and I've seen The Hangover. BLACK DYNAMITE did right, what I'M GONNA GET YOU SUCKA was trying to do. Michael Jai White is truly impressive with his protrayal of a Black 70s hero, in fact, it may be his best acting that my eyes have seen of him. And yes I have seen SPAWN. The writing was superb and dead-on with the era. Byron Minns, co writer, plays Bull Horn in the film and he is so hilarious, you may want to make sure you're not drinking anything during his scenes. "I tell ya, she put her ankle in it!" (He is spit liquid out your mouth funny.)
It's hard to tell that this movie was even released in 2009. What's important to remember is that BLACK DYNAMITE is not a spoof, but a satire of blaxploitation films. And despite only being in theaters for two weeks and then going straight to video, don't be fooled, THIS IS ARTISTIC GENIUS AT IT'S BEST!
